The Global TB Programme is pleased to inform of an upcoming global consultation that the World Health Organization is organizing with nongovernmental organizations and other civil society organizations on 11 – 13 November 2015 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The focus of discussions will be WHO’s new End TB Strategy, especially the greater community and civil society engagement, through which it envisages to achieve its ambitious targets.
KNCV has been fighting TB since its establishment in 1903. Over the past 120 years, the organization has acquired indispensable knowledge and experience in the field of effective TB prevention and care, resulting in pre-elimination in the Netherlands and significant contributions to global evidence generation, policy development and TB program implementation worldwide.
