At the National TB Conference in Nigeria, organized by the Stop TB Partnership Nigeria and National TB and Leprosy Control Program (NTBLCP), KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation Nigeria was awarded ‘best national NGO supporting the tuberculosis (TB) program’ for the introduction of innovation and case finding.
The National TB Conference was designed to bring together different stakeholders within and outside Nigeria working to end TB in the country.
Global TB ambassador
In addition, Mustapha Gidado, Executive Director of KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation, was, together with Austin Obiefuna, the incoming vice-chair of the Stop TB Partnership, named global TB ambassador for Nigeria.
