The world of public health has lost a great colleague with a passion for teaching and quality public health response, driven by science and data. Dr. Lucie Blok did not only fight to eliminate tuberculosis (TB), but also for a better world.
The impact she made on the lives of her family, friends, colleagues and countless of TB patients will not be forgotten. Our condolences go out to whomever had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in Peace, dear Dr. Blok.
KNCV has been fighting TB since its establishment in 1903.
