Deze wet schrijft over registratie en titelbescherming; zij beschrijft op welke beroepen deze registratie en titelbescherming van toepassing is. Andere zaken die in de wet worden behandeld zijn: voorbehouden handelingen, kwaliteit van de beroepsuitoefening, tuchtrechtspraak en maatregelen wegens ongeschiktheid en strafbepalingen.
