Kristian van Kalmthout has a Masters degree in Public Health with a major in Global Health. Kristian previously worked in information and communication technology in the commercial and health sectors.
Kristian joined KNCV in 2015 and works within the digital health solutions team. Kristian supports the implementation and development of digital health solutions within projects and for national level programs. Kristian is responsible for the application of digital adherence technology (such as, smart pill boxes, medication sleeves and video supported treatment), diagnostic connectivity solutions and new TB diagnostics. Kristian is also a project lead and works on the implementation of disease control strategies and supporting the programmatic management of drug-resistant TB, surveillance and Health Systems Strengthening.
