Norma Madden has 19 years experience in health research, monitoring and evaluating projects, data quality assurance systems and programs, designing dataset and data collection templates for surveillance data, and data management and analysis.
Norma is an expert in health research, design of data models and the construction of databases, data collection and quality management, data visualization, web-based data management systems and data bases, and the qualitative and quantitative analysis of monitoring and evaluation, epidemiological and survey data. Prior to joining KNCV, Norma was consultant Research Analyst, conducted research on substance misuse treatment in Ireland and a data manager with the United Kingdom’s National Health Service.
Within KNCV, Norma assists National TB Programs and government health authorities in the collection, analysis, and presentation of TB surveillance and program data, conducts detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis on monitoring and evaluation, epidemiological and survey data, develops specifications for data capture and input, designs procedures to ensure consistency, support robust data quality and integrity and designs, and constructs and manages monitoring and evaluation databases. Norma also participates in project teams as the monitoring and evaluation technical project lead, and supports KNCV project staff and project partners with the collection, analysis, and presentation of TB surveillance and program data.
