Emmanuel Kaonga is a Public Health Specialist with an MPH degree with over 6 years experience in both clinical and programmatic management of Tuberculosis and TB/HIV. His experience is at various levels and settings starting from clinic, district and national on program management, planning, implementation and monitoring and evaluation.

His major areas of competencies include program leadership and management, general TB & TB/HIV, and human resource development. He has membership with Medical Council of Malawi and KNCV Country representative for Malawi and IMPAACT4TB Malawi.

At KNCV, he has helped in introducing 3HP in Malawi and setting 3HP default study that aims at improving the uptake of TPT in the country. He also assisted in updating TPT guidelines, development of 3HP manuals, implementation of 3HP at all levels, scale up and monitor & evaluation. He is the technical focal point for Malawi and oversees the 3HP implementation in Malawi.
